General settings
- the "⚙️" -icon is in the upper right corner of the LockitScript App-screen, to the left of the MasterLockit and Cloud-Icon
- select the gear-icon for any settings
- the menu on the left hand side shows the categories “App Settings”, “Project”, “Episodes”, “Shooting Days”, “Set the Timecode”, “Cast”, “Departments”, “Crew”, “Reports”, “Connected Devices”, “Account Details” and “Privacy Policy”.
under "App Settings" you can activate or deactivate desired settings:
- "activate shooting day reminder" - recommendation: activate to receive a warning when you are working in the wrong shooting day. If activated, the upper navigation bar blinks in orange.
- "enter one sound roll per shooting day"
- "enter take comments separately for each camera"
- "Current recording medium / magazine"
- "Save frame grabs to camera roll"
- "Share Slate Info with MasterLockit"
- "Share Slate Info with ARRI CAP2 Cameras"
- "Enable logbook" if you wish to work with the logbook (for example in Italy, Belgium..)
- personalize LockitScript App-Settings like time increments for "ERT/ART" and "Work time"
- select Dark or Light "Theme" - recommendation: the dark theme uses less battery and causes less light-reflection on set.

individualize the"Scene Popup" or "Slate Settings"
under "Project" you can add information that appears on the production progress report:
- add information like "Project name"
- "Project Company"
- "Project number"
- "Scheduled shooting days"
under “Episodes” you can
- edit information to "Number", "Title" or "Scheduled Length"
📔Tip: you can create an Episode 0, for example, for all additional scenes that have not yet been assigned to an episode.
under "Shooting Days" you get an overview of all shooting days which you can edit as well
How can I change the date of the actual shooting day?
under "Set the Timecode" you can activate "Show timecode in editor`s log"
Set the correct project frame rate (frames per second, FPS) for the project.
To adjust the timecode of your LockitScript App to the camera, please take a photo of the running timecode on set (preferably directly from the timecode device from sound or camera, or the video monitor, or timecode clapperboard), note the number shown on the photo in the App under ‘Set timecode’ and confirm with ‘Set timecode’.
📔Note: The iPad timecode is only a guide; it does not replace an accurate timecode device!
under "Cast" you can "Sort cast by…"
- "Role number"
- "Category"
- "Actor´s Name"

you can add "Cast Categories" as well, e.g. "Stunt" or "Double"
under "Departments" you can add and edit Departments that appear at the "Report Input" tab
- i.e. "Work Times (in PR)" respectivly "Crew Count (in PR)" (you can also adjust the order for the progress report via drag & drop)
under "Crew" you "Create new Crew Member" that will be displayed in the header of your production report
under "Reports" you can
- activate "Count additional scenes in production report"
- "Count canceled scenes in production report"
- "Work time increments (minutes)" or select episodes that shouldn’t be displayed at the production report, i.e. if you create episode 0 for all additional scenes that doesn’t belong to an episode yet

under "Connected Devices" you see all cameras connected to a MasterLockit via ACN
under "Account Details" you can edit your Username and E-Mail and you can "Change Password"
under "Privacy Policy" you can "Allow sending anonymized crash reports for optimum support.", this helps us to identify problems with the LockitScript App to improve the development of the App
